Our Values

 

ZEBEC provides marine design, engineering, techno-commercial research, risk management including HSE consulting & training, asset integrity management and turnkey project management services for commercial Shipping, Ports and the Oil & Gas offshore / onshore industry.

 

We have been certified for ISO 9001:2000 since 2007 and have upgraded our Certification to ISO 9001:2008 from 2010 onwards.

 

ZEBEC’s primary goal is to achieve high standards of Ethics of our employees and management personnel in all our business practices and operations. This is one of our cornerstones and is considered as a personal responsibility of all personnel.

 

We believe in and act in accordance with all antitrust, competition and fair dealing laws. Our approach for commercial pricing will be set independently and will never be discussed and/or agreed with our competitors or other interested parties.

 

We totally discourage and strongly condemn any form of bribery and corruption. Involvement in any form of corruption or bribery by any of our employee or management personnel is prohibited. We prohibit the offer, acceptance or any other involvement, directly or indirectly, in connection with bribes. We shall not make direct or indirect contributions to any public or private parties, organizations or individuals, as a way of obtaining unfair advantage in business or other transactions. We shall not use any direct and/or indirect channels as a subterfuge for bribery. Any genuine contributions to deserving charitable organizations shall be documented and open for disclosure as per prevailing laws.

 

We will not give and/or receive gifts or other direct or indirect benefits which could be perceived as influencing our independent and impartial business approach. We prohibit the receiving or giving of any forms of gifts by our employees or management that are intended to affect the outcome of specific business transactions. The receipts or giving of any such gifts, as a gesture of goodwill, shall be modest and in line with acceptable legal and cultural practices of the country.

 

No employee or management personnel may use corporate property, information or position for personal gains. No employee shall, at any time, participate either directly or indirectly in any kind of business or activity which competes with or is detrimental to the organization, or may affect the impartiality and integrity of either the organization or the employees. No employee of the organization shall have any financial or other interest, directly or indirectly, in any other business or activity which is of such a nature, that the fact of his/her having such interest could throw suspicion on the integrity and impartiality of the employee or the organization. Investments in equity / mutual funds and similar non-direct investments are exempted.

 

We expect and require all personnel to be honest, accurate and record / report all relevant information on time in order to make correct and ethical business decisions. We encourage transparency throughout the organisation.

 

We are committed to with all our employees and all interested parties / stakeholders in a quality conscious, safe, healthy and environmentally responsible manner, for performing various tasks and delivering our products and/or services. We have a QHSE Policy in place and are well on our way to achieve QHSE Certification before the end of 2013.
